Иззи Эзагуи(Izzy Ezagui) вырос в Майами, штат Флорида. После нескольких своих визитов в Израиль, Иззи поклялся, что когда-нибудь он обязательно пойдет в армию — в Армию Обороны Израиля. И в 19 лет, он действительно бросив все в США, призвался в боевые части Цахал, в бригаду Кфир.
К сожалению, Иззи не повезло. Спустя менее года службы, во время операции Литой свинец в Газе, его в составе своего подразделения посылают в бой. Через 3 недели после начала операции, его отряд попадает под минометный обстрел и Иззи был серьезно ранен, практически полностью потеряв левую руку. После длительного срока реабилитации, Иззи решает вернуться в армию. Более того... он снова возвращается к службе в боевых частях и даже заканчивает курс командиров.
Несколько дней назад Иззи опубликовал свою историю на Kickstarter.com — сайте финансирования творческих проектов по схеме краудфандинга. С помощью многочисленных посетителей сайта, Иззи планирует собрать деньги для оплаты писателя, который напишет кго историю, книгу о его жизни.
